Economy parking

The economy lot offers the most economical parking at BNA and is just a 10-minute shuttle ride to the terminal building. It operates on a low daily fee for stays of longer than 24 hours and the first 20 minutes are free, so it’s useful for dropping off passengers. The shuttle service from there is available from 3:30am until 45 minutes after the arrival of the last flight.

Valet parking

You have the option of leaving your vehicle to be parked in a secure, uncovered facility by a chauffeur at BNA. You just need to call ahead before you return and your car will be back ready and waiting for you. This service operates from the Ground Transportation Level and provides customers with a free bottle of water and a newspaper.

Long-term parking

BNA has two long-term parking lots, A and B, that both have frequent shuttles and accessible parking spaces. Lot A is closer to the terminal and the journey can be made on foot or by one of the shuttle buses that swings by every five minutes. Lot B is a little further away, but the shuttles every 10 minutes from there also only take a matter of minutes to get to the terminal.

Short-term parking

The short-term lot is right next to the terminal, so it is the most conveniently placed lot at BNA. The first 20 minutes of parking are free of charge in this three-story parking garage and it stipulates that there is a height restriction of 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) on vehicles.

BNA Express Park

Nashville Airport offers an off-site Park and Ride lot, the BNA Express Park. You drive to the parking lot, which is located three miles (4.8 kilometers) from the airport, leave your vehicle for the assistant to park for you and hop on a shuttle to the airport. The ride takes five minutes and runs on an on-demand basis.

Nashville Airport (BNA) falls within the top 40 busiest airports in the USA and is currently ranked as the fourth-fastest growing amongst them. Catering to more than 10 million passengers a year, it provides over 400 daily flights to more than 50 destinations.

Nashville Airport is located in south east Nashville, Tennessee, eight miles (12.9 kilometers) from downtown. The airport is well connected to the city center by public transport, with a taxi ride taking just 15 minutes. There’s also the possibility to rent a car from one of the many companies available in the Rental Car Facility there, which is just a short walk from the terminal building.

History of Nashville Airport

Inaugurated in 1937, Nashville’s first airport, Berry Field, was served by American and Eastern airlines and catered to almost 200,000 passengers in its first year. The airport now handles over 10 million passengers a year from its single terminal, the Robert CH Mathews Jr Terminal, which was built in 1987. Berry Field is now the name used to refer to the military part of the airport in use today.

Having been used as a military base during World War II, it later saw vast growth and expansion, which is predicted to continue, with passenger numbers projected to double over the next 20 years. The site is subject to a massive $1.2 billion expansion plan that will see a fourth concourse added (D) and a brand-new on-site hotel built for a more convenient experience for passengers.

Airport facilities

Passengers using Nashville Airport are provided with a variety of shopping and dining options, all chosen to reflect the soul of Nashville, the Music City. With the ‘drinks on the go’ policy, you can wander around airside at Nashville Airport with a drink whilst you find something to do; there’s travel essentials to be bought, great food to be eaten and thrilling live music to be enjoyed at BNA.
